What to expect
Enter start and end times in seconds. The selected segment is re-encoded so the cut does not depend on source keyframes. End time must be after start time and within the source recording.
Limits and privacy
One file up to 100 MB. Best for short clips on desktop. A processing engine of about 32 MB loads on first use. Files stay on your device.
Common questions
Does conversion upload my recording?
No. The conversion engine runs locally in your browser. The engine is downloaded from this site, but your file is not sent to a server.
Why can conversion take a while?
Encoding uses your device’s processor and memory. Long clips, large dimensions, and mobile devices take longer. Keep the tab open and try a shorter clip if memory runs out.
