What to expect
Use JPEG or WebP for smaller photographic images. PNG preserves sharp edges and transparency but does not use the quality slider. Compression re-encodes pixels and may change colors or remove metadata.
Limits and privacy
Up to 10 images, 20 MB each and 40 megapixels per image. Animated images are not supported. Files stay on your device.
Common questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Image processing runs in your browser. Closing or resetting the tool clears the current selection.
Will the result always be smaller?
No. Size depends on the source, output format, and quality. The results show both sizes so you can keep the original when it is smaller.
