Is the free plan really free?
Yes, and it does not expire. No card is asked for, and it includes a real CRM, invoicing with PDF export, time tracking, and every free tool. It is limited, not crippled.
What happens when I hit a plan's limit?
You get a heads up with the option to upgrade. Nothing is deleted and nothing you already created is locked away — you simply cannot add more until the next month or the next plan.
What currency am I charged in?
US dollars, everywhere in the world. The price you see is the price that reaches your statement. If your card is issued outside the US your bank will convert it at its own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee, which is between you and your bank — we never mark the price up by region.
How does billing work, and can I cancel?
Paid plans renew automatically — monthly or yearly, whichever you pick — and you can cancel in one click from the billing page at any time. Cancelling stops the next charge and you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for.
What happens to my data if I downgrade or cancel?
It stays. Your clients, invoices, proposals, and time entries are all still there; the account simply returns to free-tier limits on what you can add. Nothing is deleted for non-payment.
Does FreelancerKit take a cut of my client work?
