What to expect
Use a positive offset to delay subtitles or a negative offset to show them earlier. Negative timestamps are clamped to zero, and cues entirely before zero are removed. WebVTT regions, styles, and cue settings are not carried into the output.
Limits and privacy
One SRT or VTT file up to 2 MB. Basic text cues are supported. Styling, positioning, and metadata are not retained.
Common questions
Does this generate subtitles from audio?
No. This tool converts existing text-based subtitle files and adjusts their timing. It does not transcribe recordings.
